Pack and Sending Requirements
At Wheel Have, we aim to make buying and selling as simple and secure as possible. Below are guidelines for both buyers and sellers to ensure a smooth shipping and local pickup experience.
—
For Buyers
Shipping Information
– Your order will be shipped directly from the seller’s location.
– Check the product listing for details about the vendor’s suburb and state.
– Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the package size and delivery location.
– Import Duties & Taxes: For international orders, your purchase may be subject to import duties, VAT, GST, or customs charges. Where required by law, Wheel Have will collect these charges at checkout (e.g. UK VAT on orders ≤ £135, EU VAT ≤ €150, Australian/NZ GST on low-value imports). Second-hand items are not exempt from these rules.
Local Pickup (When Available)
– Select “Local Pickup” at checkout if you prefer to collect items directly from the seller.
– Payment is made online, and the seller will contact you to arrange a pickup time and location.
– Ensure your contact information is up-to-date to facilitate communication.
**Important Note:** Wheel Have is not responsible for disputes or issues regarding pickup arrangements. Buyers and sellers should communicate directly to confirm pickup details and resolve any concerns.

How to Package Your Products
To ensure items arrive safely:
– **Use Sturdy Packaging:** Choose strong boxes or envelopes to protect items during transit.
– **Attach Labels Securely:** Ensure your Wheel Have shipping label is attached, with the barcode clearly visible.
– **Add Proper Padding:** Use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or paper to cushion items.
– **Protect Fragile Items:** Double-box delicate items and clearly label them as “Fragile.”
– **Avoid Branded Boxes:** Use plain boxes to prevent confusion during shipping.
– **Secure Loose Items:** Tape down extra space in the box to minimize movement.
– **No Plastic Bags or Bubble Wrap Alone:** Always use a box or envelope for shipping.
Choosing the Right Package Size
– Pouch: Up to 250g/4L
– Satchel: Up to 500g/4L
– Handbag: Up to 1kg/4L
– Shoebox: Up to 3kg/12L
– Briefcase: Up to 5kg/20L
– Carry-on: Up to 10kg/40L
– Luggage: Up to 20kg/100L
Important Notes for Sellers
– Avoid reusing branded boxes: Use plain packaging to minimize customs/shipping issues.
– Secure loose packaging: Fill empty spaces to prevent shifting.
– Fragile stickers are helpful but must be combined with proper padding.
– No plastic bags alone: Items must be boxed or in a strong envelope.
Additional Tips for Sellers
– Measure and weigh accurately to avoid extra fees.
– Use the Wheel Have Shipping Calculator to choose the best parcel size.
– Consider insurance for valuable items.
– Provide accurate product details, HS codes, and country of origin when listing — this is required for international shipments. Second-hand goods are classified and taxed the same as new items for customs purposes.
